One of Atrium Gantrys latest projects is at St James Shopping Centre which is for a Power operated Gantry running on Galvanised steel tube tracks. The Atrium has a long sweeping curve to its design running into a straight section. This meant the design of the Gantry needed to incorporate the ability for the gantry to have different traversing speeds to each end of the Gantry and for the motor speeds to change once the gantry reached the straight section of track.
The power operated gantry curved design follows the roof profile also included folding handrails to one end allowing the operatives to alight safely from the Gantry these handrails were linked into the safety circuit to ensure that the Gantry could not be traversed until the Handrails were folded back into the rest position.
