A Manually operated Gantry unit spanning the pitched roof Atrium and running on twin steel freely laid tracks. The Gantry was access form either side via a purpose designed Access stair to match the Gantry. The Stairs and the Gantry incorporated spring loaded gates which incorporated security keys thus ensuring no one can access whilst the gantry is in use.
As stated, the tracks were freely laid which avoided penetration of the existing roof finishes. Atrium Gantrys installed a mat of Engineering rubber on which wad laid a steel plate to accept the Galvanised steel track. The track in turn was periodically strapped to the existing handrail posts to ensure the track gauge is maintained.
